We offer a unique opportunity to innovate by building a service from its beginning focused on meeting the security and productivity needs of a specific user segment. You will solve some of the most interesting problems associated with providing secure, reliable, fast and highly scalable solutions while simplifying both IT administration and the end user’s experience. In the process you will have the opportunity to work with a number of industry leading AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda as well as additional areas across Amazon.
We are looking for a well-rounded software development engineer with a proven track record of solving challenging technical problems and creating great products for end users. As a developer on our team, you’ll own code end-to-end from design to development, and work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS. You’ll have a sound understanding of computer science fundamentals and practical industry experience, working across the technology stack.

- Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methods
- Solid system design and architecture experience
- Programming in C, C++, C#, and/or Java in Linux and/or Windows environment.
- Windows and Linux development experience
- The ability to take raw product requirements and develop software solutions and designs, to bring them to life
- Ability to resolve conflicts and technical disagreements while leading the team to the optimal solution
- Passion for building new products in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience using Amazon Web Services desirable
