Job Description


What you get to do in this role:

  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable applications/solutions in the realm of Digital Customer Experience(dCX)

  • Work with the dCX product owners to understand requirements and own your code from design, implementation, and test automation - targeted towards delivery of high-quality products to our customers

    • Implement software that is simple to use, to allow customers to adopt and configure the functionality to meet their specific needs
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new dCX products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite

  • Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing


Qualifications


To be successful in this role you have:

  • 10+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language

  • 7+ years of ServiceNow Full Stack Development (expertise in end-end application development, maintenance, & deployment covering all platform and UI/UX aspects)

  • Expertise in Service Portal framework, development of multiple portal applications including pages and widgets

  • In-depth understanding of Webservices, REST, GraphQL APIs

  • Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue

  • Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization

  • Advanced knowledge with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations

  • Advanced knowledge experience working with relational databases including development, troubleshooting and performance optimization.

  • Experience with multiple technology stacks: Cloud Dev, Platforms, Web Dev, Frameworks, or service–oriented architecture

  • Capability to manage multiple projects with material technical risk across teams and processes; may serve as a functional lead or technical owner

  • Experience in end-end Custom Application development on ServiceNow platform is an added advantage

Flexible

A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.

Remote

A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
