Job Description

Intel's Server DevOps/Release team along with the Firmware Architecture, Design, and Validation team is looking for a DevOps/Release engineer to join their team

A DevOps engineer will have experience with system administration, such as provisioning and managing servers, deploying databases, security monitoring, system patching, and managing internal and external network connectivity. Understand, and be able to use, a variety of tools spanning the DevOps lifecycle from infrastructure and building, to monitoring and operating a product or service. Experience with the class of tools known as "container orchestrators" (e.g. Docker Swarm or Kubernetes).
Need experience with configuring and deploying one or more CI/CD tools, and will work closely with the rest of the development organization to ensure that these tools are used effectively.
Beyond writing automation scripts also understand advanced software development practices and implementation of agile development practices such as code reviews and using source control.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Computer Engineering Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
OR
Master's degree in Electrical/ Computer Engineering Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or related field with 1+ years of relevant experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidates should have domain knowledge in the following areas:

• Experience with test tools and test tools development including scripting

• Experience with Firmware or Software life cycle

• Experience with programming languages C, C++, Java or Python

• Experience working with REST APIs and automation workflows

• Experience with configuration and maintenance of tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, and other software database management systems

• Experience with JIRA tools and workflow development

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
