Job summary Amazon’s Physical Stores Applied Science team is looking for a seasoned Machine Learning Engineers to build a brand new offering from the ground up which uses machine learning at its core. If you are passionate about data lifecycle management, model training and validation, have strong fundamentals in machine learning and software engineering, and system architecture skills--this opportunity will be a great fit for you. We are looking for ML Engineers who move fast, are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems, and have a strong will to get things done. MLEs at Amazon work on real world problems at scale, own their systems end to end and influence the direction of our technology that impacts customers. An ideal candidate will bring deep technical and software expertise, desire to have an industry wide impact and ability to work within a fast moving, startup environment in a large company to rapidly deliver services that have a broad business impact.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including communicating with other technical teams, product management, and senior management
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
