Job Description

Bring your user design experience and skillset to an exciting and meaningful initiative where we are leveraging data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to mitigate wildfires. By proactively identifying and addressing issues with power lines and related equipment, we’re increasing safety, saving lives, and protecting the environment. This is a highly visible, highly influential role carrying an impact on millions of customers.

As Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll have the opportunity to design a tool to provide mapping and data-focused workflows to rapidly identify outages and dispatch remediation teams. You’ll collaborate with the product team to capture user requirements, allowing you to intuitively design and prototype the user interface and illustrate user interaction with key features. You’ll iterate designs to arrive at the best possible user experience and leverage your debugging and problem-solving skills to champion UX/UI challenges. The tool you build will be integral to life-saving, time-critical work in the power industry-shaping future efforts, features, and scalability.

About the team

The Logic20/20 Digital Transformation team applies design thinking and next-gen technologies to solve our clients’ toughest business challenges. You’ll work side-by-side with architects, managers, and engineering consultants to gain a 360-degree perspective of the challenge at hand while contributing your unique perspective to develop innovative solutions.

About you

• You’re adept at gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with product owners, product managers, and data engineers
• You have strong attention to detail, a passion for quality, and the ability to conceptualize and define beautiful UI/UX
• You’re able to illustrate design ideas using storyboards and process flows
• You can develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the product will function and appear to users
• You have proven experience conducting layout adjustments based on user feedback
• You’re comfortable iterating, receiving, and delivering feedback
• You have strong debugging skills with an ability to solve design problems quickly with creativity and flexible thinking
• You’re able to work collaboratively in small teams with other specialized individuals
• You’re comfortable consulting with clients about their business goals and proposing user experience solutions and strategies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Frontend or UX/UI Developer
• 2+ years of UX design experience
• Extensive experience writing Typescript and JavaScript UI components
• Experience designing UI framework using AngularJS, ReactJS, and jQuery
• Advanced proficiency with wireframe tools such as Figma, Sketch, or InVision
• Strong debugging skills with the ability to debug HTML and CSS pages
• Knowledge of UI architecture including MVC and MVVM
• Experience working in an Agile environment and with SAFe methodologies
• Experience with Jira or a similar system for ticketing, project tracking, and issue resolution
• Bachelor's degree in design, computer science, or a related field

Ideal, but not required

• Knowledge of Foundry
• Experience working in a consulting services environment
• Portfolio to accompany your resume
