Our Web Development & Support Services Section is currently seeking an Information Technology Associate (ITA) to function as an administrator and developer within the Agile Development Team. The ITA typically performs a variety of recurring, well-defined tasks requiring occasional innovative problem-solving within guidelines and a scope that may encompass one or more units, functions or processes in the Software Engineering domains. Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

• 2+ years experience in application development (e.g. web, desktop, mobile) and in web application development building responsive, user-friendly web applications
• Proficient in server side technologies (e.g. PHP, Node.js, etc.), in building and consuming REST APIs and in at least one modern web framework (e.g. React, Angular, Ember, etc.)
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, etc.) and with source code management and issue tracking tools (e.g. Git, GitLab, Jira, etc.)
• Proficiency with web UX and AX conventions and standards and Proficient in frontend technologies (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.)
• Experience in developing secure web applications and knowledge of application vulnerabilities such as Cross Site Scripting (XSS), Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) etc. and developing frontend features according to the principles of progressive enhancement and responsive design.
