Front End Software Engineer, Confluence Cloud Platform Team

Atlassian is looking for a talented Front End Software Engineer to join the Confluence Cloud team in Mountain View. You'll work as part of a small but rapidly growing high-energy team delivering incredible, creative improvements to our product. You'll collaborate with other developers to write the best code for the project and deliver amazing results that our users love.

We are the Confluence Cloud Performance Platform team, responsible for FE infrastructure that supports team growth and enterprise experience. Our team's goal is to improve performance, especially for enterprise customers, make pages more interactive, prevent performance degradation, maintain code base scalability, and improve the tech stack.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have

A CS or relevant bachelor's degree, or 2 year of industry experience in frontend development.
Specialization in Javascript, HTML5, CSS
Experience with modern Javascript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, Vue)
Experience with modern unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest)
Familiar with front-end architecture and data-driven development
Ability to work with designers to develop dynamic user experiences

It would be great, but not required if you have

Experience with Redux, ImmutableJS
Experience with large scale single-page web applications
Experience with Node JS
Experience with AWS
Experience with server-side rendering
Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity
Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g., XP, scrum)
Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
