Neuralink is seeking an exceptional Data Manager to join our Translational Research team who is responsible for driving all GLP (Safety and R&D studies) to completion. You will work closely with a Study Director along with Scientists/Engineers to compile data, handle reporting (Contributing Scientist Reports/Non-Conformance Reports), communicate cross-functionally, establish timelines, and eliminate road-blocks that halt progress. You will also work with the Study Director and Study Operations personnel to identify key scientific questions when developing GLP study protocols. This role involves frequent collaboration with the Histology, Animal Care, Implant, Quality Assurance, Study Operations, and Surgical Operations teams.

Key Qualifications:

• PhD in Biological Sciences, Neuroscience, or a related field OR BA/BS in Biology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience working on animal research or medical device studies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a project, lab, or study.
• Experienced technical writer.
• Data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GLP and FDA guidelines for implantable medical devices.
• Experience working alongside engineers, scientists, and medical doctors.
• Familiar with project management software and techniques.
• Basic Python experience.
