We are looking for a dedicated and experienced technical software engineering manager for our US power management design team. As power management controllers are the brains of modern multi-die power management schemes, this unique and highly visible position allows for great exposure and contribution opportunities across Intel. In this role, you will lead a team designing and delivering innovative power management, survivability and additional critical SW services to Intel's platforms and SoCs across multiple market segments on cutting edge internal and external technology nodes. This team serves as the focal point for many SoC flows and has major impact on customer visible features and key performance indicators for many Intel products.

A successful candidate for this role has the following:

  • Proven track record of successful and timely software product delivery with complex dependencies

  • Ability to grow a team, coach development, build efficient processes and a winning team culture

  • Genuine passion for low-level system engineering and hardware/software integration

  • Excellent collaborative skills including written and verbal communication


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Electrical and Computer Engineering with 10+ years' experience in a power management role OR Master's in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of experience OR PhD in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent with 6+ years of experience in:

  • Experience leading or managing a systems software, low level driver or firmware development team

  • Operating system fundamentals, embedded hardware and SOC/CPU architecture

  • SoC/System hardware power management techniques and how it relates to operating systems

  • C++ and embedded FW architecture

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
